In addition to an Annual General Meeting which takes place in the autumn, the Association holds regular meetings to consider issues such as safety, health, internships, aspects of British law for study abroad programmes, staff development, student placement in British universities, new resources and student support.
AASAP/UK has prepared an extensive library directory for its members, and a directory of resident academics who teach for American study abroad programmes and who are available for other teaching engagements.
AASAP/UK liaises with the British Government, the US Embassy, the Fulbright Commission, BUNAC, and UKCISA.
Full membership is open to the representative/s of any fully accredited US college or university study abroad programme, large or small, and either placing students in British universities or offering free-standing programmes. Associate and affiliate membership is also possible.
You are cordially invited to consider membership of AASAP/UK.
