You may recall that AASAP/UK responded in the autumn of 2007 to a consultation about proposed sponsorship and visa fees under the Points Based System (cf. the News item dated 9 November).
Today the Border & Immigration Agency announced its proposed fees. A short summary of the proposed fees follows. Learn more

We last did a survey in April 2006. At the 2007 AGM we agreed to undertake another survey. Our membership has increased substantially since the last survey, and current statistics will be a valuable and compelling bargaining tool. In particular, we would like to know the number of students the association represents and our financial contribution to the UK economy. We hope as many members as possible will submit a response.
